Rubber AcceleratorsRubber accelerators are defined as the compounds that are used to speed up the manufacture of rubber (vulcanisation). This procedure yields untreated natural rubber latex appropriate for use in the production of a wide range of rubber goods. Rubber accelerators come in a variety of forms. These are included in nearly all rubber compounds. The commonly used rubber goods with which we may come into touch on a daily basis are balloons, elastic bands, garden hoses and gloves, kitchen gloves, pillows and mattresses, rubber gloves, sport shoes, rubber latex condoms, and others.
